INFORMATION: SHEA OLEIN DESCRIPTION Shea olein comes from the fruits
of the karate tree and is obtained by enrichment of shea butter
in unsaponifiables : the Karisterols. Deeply rooted in the African
tradition, Karite is a cradle to grave companion in the daily life
in the bush. New born are welcomed by a vigorous shea butter massage,
the late king rests on the bed carved in Karite wood. This sacred
tree is used all year long to provide the necessary fat for nourishment
thanks to the natural oxidant properties of the butter contained
in its nuts. The butter is used traditionally as an ointment for
rheumatism, burns and light wounds treatment. The Karite tree grows
only in the Savannah of west central Africa and can reach 15 meters
height. It flowers during the dry season. The fruits, similar to
a big nut, contain an edible kernel, which is very rich in fats.
Shea olein imparts a pleasant smooth feeling to the skin. It brings
all the benefits of the karisterols. AGREEMENTS . INCI : Shea butter
